After ten years of holding the Tour de Blue cycling event, the Urology Health Foundation has decided to discontinue the ride.
The Health Foundation would like to thank all the sponsors, cyclists, and volunteers of the Tour de Blue who supported and participated in the event over the last ten years, and made it all possible. The Foundation would also like to thank Pixie Hicks for allowing the Tour de Blue to be part of the Alabama Backroads Century Series. Her constant encouragement and her tireless efforts have made the Alabama Backroads Century Series and the Tour de Blue a truly unique riding experience. It has been an honor to be a part of the Series.
While the Tour de Blue is in the history books, our work at the Urology Health Foundation most assuredly is not. We will continue our work in fighting prostate cancer through our free prostate cancer screenings across the State of Alabama.

The Tour de Blue century ride starts and finishes in Moody, Alabama (just outside Birmingham). There are several distance options (106, 76 & 50 miles). Funds raised from the event support the Urology Health Foundation‘s prostate cancer screening and awareness efforts across Alabama. Not only does this ride benefit a great cause, but it is a fun event as well. It is non-competitive, you get to cycle with others and make new friends, and it offers one of the great scenic rides in this state.
Your Participation Will:
The Tour de Blue is part of the Alabama Backroads Century Series, a group of top century rides in the State of Alabama that seeks to encourage participation in each of the rides and the charities they support.
